Staff Wellbeing Support

Staff at Chapel Green School give their all to support our amazing pupils and their families. To give our best, we need our staff to be as well as can be, to support staff we have many things in place, see a sample below. 

We offer all our staff access to wellbeing services managed by the  School Advisory Service. Their services are designed to help staff feel happier, healthier and bring their best selves to work. Below are some of the services they provide:

In addition, all our staff have access to Norfolk Support line services, on the following number. 

 These services include 24/7 access to qualified professionals, 365 days a year. These professionals can give or signpost towards support for Mental Health, Financial assistance, Health information and legal assistance, along with arranging Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Counselling sessions.

Our team constantly strive to support each other, this includes in school access to Staff Mental Health First Aiders. 

As a minority in school we have a Men's wellbeing group. 

Our staff wellbeing group constantly strives to make school life as good as it can be through co-ordinating lots of small things that make a big difference.

These have included:

 - Emergency Toiletry supplies

- Coffee Cart's on training days 

- Staff Quiz nights

- Staff meet up events 

- Food bank

- Staff wellbeing Surveys and follow up actions 

- Charity events to raise money for others

Our staff have access to extensive training for their role's, many staff join our school in one role and with training and experience progress to role's with greater responsibility.

Our school ethos is 'Challenge, Grow, Shine', and we strive to ensure our whole community has the opportunity to be the best they can be!
