Packed lunches

We are a nut free school

Please do not send in any products containing nuts into school. This includes cereal bars, chocolates spreads or any other snack that list nuts as an ingredient.

Products labelled 'May contain traces of nuts' are currently permitted.

If you wish your child to have hot food sent from home that is not offered by the school, this must be sent in a food flask. Due to food hygiene regulations, school staff will not be able to heat food in the microwave and any food sent in will be served cold. We appreciate this may be difficult for some pupils but as a school we have to follow the guidelines that are set by the Food Standards Agency.

Please note, pupils must not bring hot drinks in flasks to school. Hot drinks are not safe for pupils to have in school. Sixth form pupils may have hot drinks in their classrooms as part of their life skills programme.

School Lunches

Our external catering company Edwards and Blake provide and cook fresh meals daily for our staff and pupils.

Should your child have any dietary needs e.g gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian or pureed as per specialist consultation, please do not hesitate to speak to the Office.  We work together with the catering company to ensure that all our pupils dietary needs are met.

Please see the Latest Menu.

School lunches are £3.65.

The school has taken the decision to no longer accept any cash payments from September 2022.

It is a Norfolk County Council preference that schools become cashless.

All payments for school lunches will be made directly into the school bank account using the following details:

Account Name: Norfolk County Council

Sort Code: 20-62-61

Account Number: 10890421

Please add your child’s initials and class into the detail/comments box e.g. ST Bluebell

If you have any questions or concerns please contact the school office or email office@chapelgreen.norfolk.sch.uk
