Maple Class

Maple class is made up of a mix of Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 pupils. We follow a bespoke pathway, which is made up from a mixture of the semi-formal and formal curriculum, which is centred around the child and the areas that they need to develop. Our curriculum is tailored to cover the areas which will benefit our pupils and prepare them for adulthood. All of our pupils are working towards gaining a qualification which will allow them to leave Chapel Green School with an accreditation to then further develop, these include TITAN, ASDAN and Entry Level examinations. We work on preparing them for sitting exams and building their confidence around communication and literacy and maths and problem solving. As we are preparing for our next steps, Maple class spend a lot of time in the community, building on their life skills and collaboratively working with the Upper School department to complete Enterprise projects.
