Enterprise 

Enterprise Events 

In school, we have regular Enterprise events during the school day that are run by our students. It is a great opportunity for our students to gain work experience and develop communication, maths and literacy skills as they work towards their accreditations while they plan and prepare for these events. 

Students focus their Enterprise ideas on a theme and parents and carers are invited in to share the experience and purchase some of the products students have made.  They also have a café available during these times with drinks and snacks that students also support.  During this time classes sell their products, the profits go into the Upper School fund that is used to purchase special things for the department.

We also have occasional restaurant evenings events where we raise money towards the Prom and making it extra special for our students.  Students help to plan and prepare the event and then serve customers that are attending using the skills they have been learning whilst out on work experience.  These are supported by staff who are kind enough to share their evening with us and a great evening is had by all.  Please look out on Reach More Parents for our next event!
